Indian Premier League 2016 season full schedule and fixture list will be announced in February 2016 after the IPL Auction which will take place on 6th February. Below are the important dates for IPL season 9.
The ninth edition of Indian Premier League will be played from 9th April 2016 to 29 May 2016. The final fixtures will be announced in February 2016. There will be two new teams as Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals are both disqualified for atleast two next seasons.
2016 IPL Season 8 Match Schedule – Release Date
Indian Premier league 2016 will be played through 9 April-29 May 2016 and it will be 50 days of non-stop action with 8 teams fighting it out for coveted title. There will be total 60 matches including 56 pool matches plus 3 final qualifier and the big final. BCCI will announce the full schedule and fixture list in February 2016 and as soon as the official fixture list is out we will be updating right here on this page.
Eight teams will play 2 matches against each other on home-away basis making it 56 pool games which will be followed by Qualifier 1, Eliminator and the qualifier 2. To decide the two finalists for the IPL 2016 final which will take place in Eden Garden, Kolkata for second year running.
